Following intimately two transitioning women, Edhi and Alice, the film portrays the journey to reconcile their bodies, expressed in the diverse form of cinema. In the film, their journey leads to the question: of what the trans woman is and what the cinema truly is.

directorIlrhan Kim is an award-winning filmmaker and founder of PINKS, a collective focused on queer and women's narratives. Her debut film, Mamasang: Remember Me This Way (2004), won the Women’s News Award. Two Doors (2011) attracted over 70,000 viewers with only 14 theaters and was named one of the top 100 Korean films. She also produced Miracle on Jongno Street (2010), Korea’s first documentary on gay coming out, and Nora Noh (2013), about a pioneering female designer, which premiered in IDFA 2013.

Mira Eskelinen (she/her) is a queer creative multitalent, professional artistic enabler, and an aficionado of all things hybrid. She is passionate about deconstructing and expanding LGBTQIA+ narratives and creating platforms and playgrounds for under-represented artists and storytellers. Currently Mira is working as the executive director at House of Text, a cultural centre in Helsinki dedicated to text culture.
